Paradise Poker Review
This Poker Room is either not recommended, or no longer in business and they have been removed from the AllOnlinePokerSites list of recommended sites.
Overview This site used to be the largest online poker room and is still one of the larger sites. The competition is about average while the software is very strong. Paradise Poker new player bonuses are unimpressive and promotions are almost nonexistent. The customer service should have phone service for a site of this size.
Ease of Competition The competition is slightly above average. While now much smaller than Party Poker, it is still one of the larger sites and has a good number of new players and regulars.
Bonuses and Promotions Paradise Poker has a solid new player bonus of 25% up to $50. Once you are dealt 100 hands, you are automatically issued $10 whether you are involved in the rake or not- until the full bonus is captured. This is a fairly easy bonus to bring to fruition for limit and low stakes players.
The promotions on the site lag behind, especially for a site of this size. Current Million Dollar Freeroll is too exclusive- you must win a satellite tournament- and there is simply not enough other promotions that are notable.
Refer a Friend Program: The referrer gets a $50 bonus and the referral gets a $50 bonus, with a minimal deposit of $50.
Poker Software Paradise Poker is widely regarded as a poker software leader with its clean, sleek and reliable graphics and software. The platform is one of the most quick and stable in the industry. Paradise Poker supports notes on other players and has good statistics functions including flop percentage and average pot size. One nice feature is the cards that make up your winning hand catch on fire. One annoying negative is the pot size is not visibly provided numerically unless you run the cursor over the pot.
Multi-Table Capability: 3
Rake/Cashouts/Customer Support Like Party Poker, Paradise Poker's rake is less attractive than the average in the industry, at least when it comes to lower limit games. This is also the case at tournaments, where good value only is provided at the higher stakes.
Cash Out Options: VISA, NETeller, Firepay and Check.
Currently, they only have customer service via email. They can be reached via email at support@paradisepoker.com.

Our Recommendation: The site is worth a strong look if you are a high limit player. For low stakes players, the rake is a strong negative. But the overall poker experience is excellent. |
