Jim Bechtel
Jim Bechtel has played in the World Series of Poker for many years and came in the money in the main event 1986, 1988, and 1989, but he won it all in 1993, taking the championship, the gold bracelet, and the top prize of $1 million. In possibly the least interesting final hand in the WSOP, Jim Cozen, short stacked pushed all in with 7-4, Bechtel called with J-6, and the board came up 10-8-3-2-5 giving Bechtel the Championship with jack high.
Bechtel does not play in many tournaments, primarily just the large ones like the WSOP and some World Poker Tour events. He currently resides in Gilbert, Arizona.
