Dan Harrington was born in Cambridge Massachusetts in 1945 and graduated from Suffolk Law School in Boston. His achievements in tournament poker are in a league with the best in the game. Harrington came in 6th in his first ever World Series of Poker Championship in 1987 and won the WSOP No Limit Hold 'em Championship Event in 1995. Harrington made the final table of the two largest entry fields in WSOP Championship history, 2003 and 2004, collecting $2.15 million for his 3rd and 4th place finishes. Dan Harrington's is known for his unyielding conservative play. Poker isn't the only game in which Dan has excelled, he was a state chess champion in 1971 and won the World Cup of Backgammon in 1980.
