Berry Johnson
While lesser known than many others, Berry Johnson is one of the most successful World Series of Poker players ever with 60 money finishes. He has 5 WSOP bracelets and has monied over 2 million dollars.
At the age of 70, Johnson is still actively playing poker tournaments. In fact, he has cashed in at least one event at the World Series of Poker in every year except two since 1982.
His most notable achievement: Berry Johnson won the WSOP $10,000 buy-in no limit hold'em main event title in 1986. He overcame a field of 141 and earning himself $570,000. In the final hand, Berry's A,10 held off Harthcock’s A,8 to bring home the goods.
Berry Johnson was inducted inot the Poker Hall of Fame in 2003.
